Q: I don't feel comfortable sending my original photos in the mail, do I have any other options?
A: Absolutely. If you prefer you can scan the photos yourself and send them to us on a CD or via e-mail. Be sure to follow our scanning instructions (below) to ensure top quality. If you don't have a scanner or are not sure how to scan your photos correctly, you can bring them to a local store that offers scanning services like Kinkos. If you'd like, we can can find a local store for you if you send us your zip code.
Scanning Instructions:
- Scan at a fairly high resolution, we reccomend 300 dpi. This way your photos will be suitable for both printing and video resolution.
- As a general rule of thumb photos should be scanned at their original size (100%) but if you have a really small picture you may want to scan it at 200% or vice versa for a really large picture.
- Always have the scanner do the enlarging. Do not blow up your photo in an image editing program after it has been scanned. This will degrade the quality of your photo.
If you are not computer savvy and the above guidelines seem like another language to you, don't worry. Feel free to e-mail us directly, let us now what specific brand and model scanner you have, the size of your photos, and the product(s) you are interested in and we will e-mail you back with specific instructions for your specific scanner and photos.

A: Typical turn-around time is within 2-3 weeks after placing your order. Depending on the complexity and number of photos more or less time may be needed. If you have a specific date you need your project finished by just let us know and we'll let you know whether or not we can get it done in time.
